Tradisjonsrik festival i trivelige Skagen på nordspissen av Jylland med FolkPort-konserter i 2005, 2006, 2007 og 2008. De fleste FolkPorters har også besøkt festivalen flere ganger tidligere som publikum.

Fakta om Skagen Festival

Start: Skagen Festival startede i 1971 og er dermed Danmarks ældste musikfestival.
Festivalen har altid fundet sted sidste weekend i juni / første i juli og hed i mange år Skagen Visefestival, men ændrede i 1989 navn til Skagen Festival.

Musikprofil: Skagen Festival er en folkemusikfestival.
Festivalen har gennem årene tilpasset sig den rivende udvikling som denne genre har gennemgået så der i dag præsenteres folkemusik i alle afskygninger: Folk/rock, jazz, visesang, roots, blues og meget andet.
